Ancient Brazos - Christmas Point
Ancient Brazos delta plain deposits are exposed at Christmas Point and at the southern end of Rattlesnake Point. Because they lie less than 3 feet beneath the bay bottom, excavated fragments of this clay can be found in dredge spoil piles, particularly those along the old intracoastal waterway in Drum Bay.
